Grace texted: A friend woke me up hapi abt new Rolex. I just realizd what's d generation's Rolex? What product today will stand d so called "test of time"? what's r chocnut?

I replied: Don't know. Wth today's Baby-G's and Swatch watches, seems like kids arent interestd in what will last, but more with what looks great on them now.

Decided to forward Grace's text and get Mark's take on it.

Mark texted: None. Everything is meta. Diamonds r artificially priced. All marketing. Everything is in planned obsolesence. Why pay 4 a 20k watch when nxt month theres a new model?
