In the movie, Denzel Washington plays ATF Officer Doug Carlin. In the course of investigating the bombing of a New Orlean’s ferry, he is recruited to become part of secret government task force to help track down the terrorists. “Snow White” is the top secret operation/device that allows the task force to look four days into the past. So, imagine Google Earth, but you’re looking at that spot of the earth four days ago—and you can even go inside the rooms of house, see through walls, and hear people’s conversations. The “time window” works like “video streaming”, so they can’t rewind and check other places in the past. They can only view one place, one person at a time.
