Got to work around 4pm. Traffic on Buendia was terrible.

It's now 12:47 am and yes, I'm still here at the office.

I didn't get to see Barbie.

Crap.

Crap.

Crap.

Hope to get my comic book-fix later today. Hope to get the chance to swing by Megamall before coming to work...

Yes, we've got work on a Saturday.

Crap.

Crap.

Crap.

It's 4:04am (according to the clock on my computer) and I'm still at the office.

I guess it's only fair considering I came to work at 5p.m. yesterday. :)

This probably means I'll be coming to work at 5pm again. Unfortunately, we have work in the morning. Well, maybe it'll be moved to late afternoon.

I just hope we get to finish early so I can go watch Barbie. Missed her last week, when they played at Greenbelt. Got a flyer of their Java Jivin' Tour from Roach and Barbie just looks soooo cute in that photo. Oh.... well... hoping that if we do have to work late into the night again, that maybe I can escape for an hour or two and have coffee and get to see the band.

Geez... I miss the night life... I miss the boogie... then again, I don't even know how to boogie...

Ha ha!

I've finally installed my own guest book!

(I know... monkeys are supposed to already know how to do this...)

It’s already 2 in the afternoon and haven’t done anything.

I should have just stayed home and slept in my bed and just come in after lunch.

So, I come in this morning to be greeted by the news that the stuff we came up with yesterday was not accepted by client.

We made two things which we really, really liked but client says they want to see the “bigness”. Ugh! That word again. The “bigness”?! Next thing you’ll know they’ll want FIRST and LEADER in the damned headlines again.

So, we’re now supposed to work on it again.

But I think they’re taking it out of my hands since we’re really supposed to work on the M-Project.

And now here I am trying to jump-start my brain again with instant coffee and creamer.

Go brain! Go!

Start

Think

Now

AARRRRRRRRGGGGHHHH

Must. Go. To. Sleep.

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

It’s already Wednesday and we haven’t really made that much work.

Nuts!

This can’t be happening.

Please God, set me free!!!

AAARRRRGGGH!!!

I’m trying to drown in the music of the Mutual Admiration Society, from Definition Records, which, to my surprise, is a local compilation, put together by none other than, Toti Dalmacion. M.A.S. is now available in Tower. I think it’s out elsewhere, just don’t know where.

I bumped into Quark in Tower. Said that Monsterbot got signed up. Said that he flipped through THE LOST. Said that it somewhat reminded him of Promethea. Said that he had to go. He was buying a Nirvana shirt.

At Tower, saw that Jolina has a new CD out, only P275, it actually had nice packaging, it was a red, round can, which, unfortunately had her picture on it, but it looked pretty, the can, not her, and it said something about “The Klubber’s Guidebook”, which made me wonder if the album is her attempt at doing something techno, consider her last album was a “revival” of love songs.

I hate that word… “revival”, sounds like you’re bringing back something from the dead. And you know what happens wherever you try to do that, these “revived” things are never-ever the same (and they usually try to eat your brain in the process). Why can’t they just call it a “remake”. Because that’s what you’re trying to do to the song anyway—you are “re-making” it into something new, and not just “reviving” it and trying to sing it in the same way it first came out.

Hmmm…

There… I think I’m awake now.

No more coffee.

I wonder if I should risk another round of instant coffee.
But I’m already out of creamer.

2:27pm on my computer clock. I good enough time to start working I guess.

Getting my Gaiman-fix...

Queso habla espanol... este Portuguese?

Gaiman just came from a book signing in Brazil and gave an exclusive interview to Universo HQ. Thank God, they translated it.

His book tour will bring nowhere near Manila.

Damn.

I wish Powerbooks or Page One would bring him over.

Or I just wish they'd order the book immediately.

I need my Gaiman fix...

First, your heart falls into your stomach and splashes your innards.

All the moisture makes you sweat profusely.

This condensation shorts the circuits to your brain and you get all woozy.

When your brain burns out altogether, your mouth disengages and you babble like a certin until she leaves.
