A couple of weeks ago, I emailed a whole bunch of people about viability of publishing a komix magazine. Well, it seems like Summit Publishing is doing exactly that. Summit is the publisher of Candy, Preview, Seventeen, and FHM. Their newly acquired property is a comics magazine called W.I.T.C.H., published by Disney in Italy. The artwork is very manga, which will go big with the otakus here. Storywise it's like Buffy meets Charmed. And they even get articles about fashion, astrology, and magic. All this for only P60.00! Perfect... Geez, why didn't I think of this?!
