That quote just reminded me of some people. Wait. Wait. The line just reminded me of myself. Back in the old days, whenever I ended up on that road called the Blues, I bugged a whole lot of people (and ruined their day). I used to go to Moy’s house with three or four mini-cheesecakes (bought from that small cake shop along White Plains) and we’d talk about whatever was bothering me while we ate the cake. The cake, being comfort food, was supposed to make us feel better, but sometime we just went out for more cake. Then there was time I went to Mark’s house around midnight. Since the cheesecake shop was closed, we ended up going to Wendy’s at the corner of Kamias and EDSA. We ordered take out and I kept on ranting about my love life (or lack of) until we got to the UP Oblation. There we stay til 2...
