As I write this, I am 43 minutes late in sending out a birthday greeting to an old friend.

I first read his name in the pages of FLASHPOINT, the comic book that came out in 1993 that got everyone got the attention of comic book readers and aspiring comic book creators.

I first met him during Platinum Comic’s mini-comic-con, where he personally delivered his fan mail for COMICS 101.

Soon after Alamat Comics started, he ask if I could be his editor / sounding board / story consultant. In the years that followed, he ended up showing me over 200 comic book scripts. They are wonderful stories that are just waiting for artists to bring them to life.

His recent stories have been in prose form and can still be found in the bookstores. So, if you’re in the mood for a little scare, look for CRAVING, TAKOD, and PARMAN.
