That Damned Collective Unconscious

Way back 1995, Dave asked me to be editor of a comic series he was writing.
It was all called "Templars" and my Hollywood-pitch for it would be, "It's James Bond meets magic."
It was all about espionage, intrigue, and magic being used by terrorists.
It gave the term "black ops" new meaning.
It was supposed to be illustrated by Taps.
He did a grand total of two pages.
Dave ended up writing over 25 scirpts for that series.
None of them have ever been illustrated because we could never find the right guy.

Flash forward to today. Saw this new Image book called REX MUNDI. And it's all about templars! Had to call up Dave an tell him all about it.
It's not exactly Dave's plot, but the foundation of the story is the same.
That sucks.

Oh well...

Maybe one of the days that story will be drawn and published.

My computer clock is slow.
it's wrong.
Says it's only 8:24am.
Obviously it's wrong.
Because I'd still be asleep if it was really 8:24am.

Been trying to write since last week.
Scribbled down some ideas.
