Ok... now I'm depressed.
Just got to read this news item about a new book from Haberlin / Wildstom. It's called TALEWEAVER and I think the entire creative team is Pinoy.
writer: Leonard Banaag
penciler: Philip Tan
inker: Gary J. B. Mayoralgo
colorist: Michael "Bart" Bartolo
Check out the preview of the cover and an inside spread.
Geez, they're living the dream...
Okay... okay... so maybe it's just their first issue and their not yet rich and famous, but the mere fact that the entire team is compose of Pinoys and getting their work published abroad is definitely something to rave about.
So far, this so-called "PacRim" imprint is doing stories based in Japan. It would be great if these Pinoys can convince their editors to do stories based in the Philippines.
Ah, the dream...
For now I must go back to writing copy for cellphone ads.
Ah, reality.
