It's 11pm and Grace just got me searching the web for the collective noun for tigers. At first, I thought it would be a ridiculous search and didn't think the web could provide the answer. Then much to our surprise, people have actually set-up webistes about collective nouns. There's even a website called Fave collective nouns!
Wow! For crying out loud! I can't believe people actually take the time to make a website about collective nouns! Well, before our search was over, I ended up having our own favorite collective nouns.
An unkindness of ravens
A stack of librarians
A mob of kangaroos
A murder of crows
A parliament of owls
A wisdom of owls
An unease of compromises
And when I saw the "unkindness of ravens", I thought that it would make a good title for a story. Then I remembered that Gaiman already used it as a title for one of the issues of SANDMAN.
Damn! He beat me to it again.
By the way, a group of tigers is supposedly called a "streak of tigers".
Now your life is more significant.
