Yesterday was the agency's annual Halloween Trick-or-Treat Party for the kids. Greg and Ernie decided to dress up as the Kambal. They couldn't get any of the girls to come dressed as Trese, but they were able to ask Lady to pose with them for one picture. (Now, if I can only convince them to attend the Komikon, other events, and my birthday party.)

The Secret Origin of Bakeman In an earlier post, I talked about the legendary amount of time it takes to create a Piattos campaign. If there’s another campaign that would come close to being legendary, it would be the Magic Chips campaign. It took us a months to finally create a campaign that got approval from client. We were already getting ready to produce it when another commercial came out using the same TV show/genre we had pegged for our story. We had to go back to the drawing board. So, I started scribbling on my notebook. What did we need to do? We needed to emphasize that this particular snack was baked . Could we set in an oven? Could we show some bakers in a giant oven? The Art of Collecting Stories I found these videos of Jonathan Harris' talk a couple of months ago. That was around the time were working on the Globe "Connected 24ever" project. When Harris talked about his experiment / exploration to find new stories, it made me think about the stories we were trying to tell with the Globe campaign. There were certain nights when it felt like I had run out of stories to tell. Thankfully, with everyone pitching in, we pooled together a good number of interesting tales. Watching Harris' journey makes me remember that I need to spend more time outside of the office and collect more stories. (Well, we try our best to get out of the office earlier than usual).
